I installed a firefox plugin today called: SEO Firefox Plugin which gives a host of information about a site.

According to this I have 159 page in google’s supplemental index. The supplemental index is were unworthy pages end up rather than the proper google index. This does not mean that 159 of my pages are unworthy pages but means it more than likely duplicate content. An interesting article on the subject from Nathan Metzger of Not So Boring Life
“Lots of SEO masters believe that content that isn’t worthy ends up in the supplemental index. While this is certainly true, if you’re running a wordpress blog it is more likely that you’re simply dealing with duplicate content issues. If you make a post today on a default wordpress setup, there are about 5 different URLs you could type in that would give you the exact same content. You can generally get to the same content via the Category, Calendar, Author, Monthly, and Page archives. Unless you know exactly what you’re doing your site is probably heavily cached in the supplemental index.”
By reducing the number of pages your site or blog has in the supplemental index will have a positive effect on your google traffic. According to Nathan Metzger he saw a 20% increase in his google traffic. Also Shoemoney saw an increase of 1400% in his google traffic by getting out of the supplemental index.
You can get out of the supplemental index by telling google what it can and cant look at via robots.txt. You can see my robots.txt file here

I installed the tool and I can tell you the tool is not accurate.
According to the tool I have two and one of them is my main page. lol I noticed every site I entered reported the main website as supplemental.
I tried another one of my sites and it reported every page as supplemental, which is full of bull.
